Since 1945, the introduction of a coat of arms was discussed, but the motif of the water wheel was decided only in 1963. The wheel refers to the former mill at the northern edge of the village center.
I found the flag together with those of the canton of Aargau and Switzerland on the facade of the town hall in the village.

Seit 1945 wurde die Einführung eines Wappens diskutiert, das Motiv des Wasserrads wurde aber dann erst 1963 beschlosssen. Das Rad nimmt Bezug auf die ehemalige Mühle am nördlichen Dorfrand.
Ich fand die Flagge zusammen mit denen des Kantons Aargau und der Schweiz an der Fassade des Gemeindehauses im Dorfzentrum.
