Messiah Methodist Church (20 Middle Street) was built as the United Brethren Church in 1894. It originally had a Gothic design of frame construction with side tower, gable-front façade, and pointed arch windows. The structure was enclosed in brick with a modern façade designed in the mid-20th century.
