This large scout camp has both cabin and tent style accommodation and is a large fatality available to scouts and the general community.

The campground is able to cater for 10,000 campers and over 200 people in lodges. there is a wide range of adventrue based activities suitable for people of all ages.
It has hosted three Australian Jamborees and the 16th World Scout Jamboree in 1987–1988. From 2010, the Australian Jamborees were held at Cataract Scout Park every six years. The camp is 160 hectares (400 acres)
