The South Carolina Maritime Museum is open to the public with no admission charge and has many artifacts from area divers that have been recovered locally. There are 2 floors of interesting displays. Plan to spend at least an hour there.

The Museum was began in 1996 with a mission to preserve and promote the maritime history of Georgetown County and South Carolina.
