*The Little Free Library at Dade Battlefield Historic State Park was built by park volunteers. Dade Battlefield Historic State Park is the site of the start of the Second Seminole War. One hundred and eighty Seminole Indians ambushed 108 soldiers on December 28th, 1835. At the end of the battle only three soldiers survived. The little library offers history, nature, fiction and nonfiction books to the park visitor.* Taken from the LFL website.
The LFL can be accessed during park hours which are 8:00 am until sunset, 365 days a year. A entrance fee is required to visit the park.
