The US National Register for Historical Properties Yankton Commercial District is located in the historic part of downtown Yankton along the Meridian Highway/US 81.

There is an interesting mix here of buildings from the 19th and 20th centuries. Blasterz are glad to see that these folks in Yankton are taking steps to preserve their unique heritage as the first Territorial Capital of Dakota territory.
