Lucy Robbins Welles Library Sundial has an unusual design. The dial is a ring with Arabic numerals. A pair of arches set at right angles supports the ring at the four quadrants of the ring. The gnomon rises up from the supports through the space in the center of the ring. The sundial is metal that is painted green. Is is set on a 3' high square red stone base.
