Dedicated on Jan 31, 2023, the Hashknife Pony Express Monument is dedicated to the Hashknife Pony Express of Holbrook which is the only USPS certified Pony Express in the country. The monument was sculpted by Scott Rogers in 2022. Scott Rogers, a local sculptor that worked for many years with members of the Hashknife Pony Express expressed that he kept in his mind that "beauty is the pathway to God" when sculpting the monument. The Children of the American Revolution helped with raising money for the monument, racking up a grand total of $5000 in which their State President Catherine Young was present. Mention was also given to Mildred and Ophelia of Holbrook who donated a quilt which raised $1200. Mildred was at the ceremony and was able to receive two gifts from the President of the Hashknife Pony Express.
The monument was unveiled by the pulling of a rope done on horse by a fellow member of the Pony Express.
