"Originally built as one of the first hotels in Pawhuska, the sandstone structure, known as the PAWHUSKA HOUSE, was expanded about 1916 to become the CONSTANTINE THEATRE. Besides losing a wood verandah which extended the width of the hotel, most of the stone was removed and brick veneer was added. The original structure became the lobby, restrooms, ticket and concession counters on the first floor and the projection room on the second floor. To the rear, a large theater, stage, and prop fly were added along with dressing rooms and offices. The addition was in red brick with a bowstring roof." (visit link)
