El Parador de Alcañiz está situado en uno de los conjuntos monumentales más complejos de Aragón. El enorme recinto, mitad castillo y mitad convento, impresiona al viajero por su imponente silueta dominando toda la zona.

Desayunar en el claustro o tomarse una copa de vino en la galería son un plan perfecto para olvidar la rutina y desconectar. Los amplios espacios del Parador de Alcañiz y su cuidada decoración potencian la luz del exterior y hacen de las estancias lugares cálidos y acogedores de los que es difícil marcharse.
Desde todas las ventanas del Parador se contempla el pueblo de Alcañiz, rico también en historia.
El antiguo castillo medieval de los Calatravos alberga desde el año 1960 el espectacular Parador de Turismo de Alcañiz. Cuenta con restaurante, gimnasio, sauna, 3 salas para celebraciones, bar y jardines, entre otras muchas más comodidades.

The building, built in the 12th and 13th centuries, preserves its keep, the bell tower, the sacristy and the part converted into an Aragonese palace. The Plateresque tomb, the Baroque façade and its placid garden have also been preserved. Its Gothic frescoes from the 14th century deserve a special mention, undoubtedly one of the jewels of the castle.
Having breakfast in the cloister or having a glass of wine in the gallery are a perfect plan to forget the routine and disconnect. The wide spaces of the Parador de Alcañiz and its careful decoration enhance the light from outside and make the rooms warm and welcoming places from which it is difficult to leave.
From all the windows of the Parador you can see the town of Alcañiz, also rich in history.
The old medieval castle of Los Calatravos has housed the spectacular Alcañiz Parador de Turismo since 1960. It has a restaurant, gym, sauna, 3 rooms for celebrations, bar and gardens, among many other amenities.
