Conocidos los detalles sobre su materia prima, en un principio originaria de bronce y actualmente de hierro -un dato conocido en 1994, constatado por una inspección del Museo Provincial de Teruel-, también son interesantes otro tipo de características de la mítica figura. Uno de los datos más curiosos de la escultura que vigiló la ciudad desde la plaza del Torico hasta el pasado domingo 19 de junio es su peso, establecido en unos 54 kilos según la documentación municipal. Una cifra que daba cuenta de su supuesta formación de bronce. El archivo, además, revela un tamaño de la escultura de 45 centímetros de longitud, de cola a boca; y 37 centímetros de alto, de la base a los pitones de sus astas. Una figura que posaba sobre la columna anillada de piedra labrada de siete metros de alto.
