Lake Nadungamba is located on the main entrance road and has some picnic tables for visitor use. On the far side of the lake is a bird hide which allows observation of the birds. It has a number of small windows at different levels for use of all ages.

The bird hide provides a well protected location to view a quiet part of the lake which is rarely disturbed by visitors. It also provides the opportunity to listen for bird calls as it is not close to the road or passing visitors.
