Several Roman Inscription tablets found at this monumental site.

The information panel reads:
"?From Kastel comes an unusual abundance of Roman stone monuments. With varying degrees of certainty, they belong to graves of the 2nd and 3rd centuries A.D. Apart from that, hardly any sophisticated architectural remains have survived.
Five grave inscriptions alone acquaint us with the first names of inhabitants from Kastel. Some more completely preserved names indicate an ancient population through the Celtic language root. Bucculia Lalla and a possible relative of her, Lallius..., possibly a generation younger, belong to the Gallo-Roman stratum of the population according to their names. To this also belongs...issia, whose name is unfortunately even less complete. Jucundius probably also belongs to this native population, although following the new trend he bears a Latin name.
The best preserved stone monument was originally intended to house urn and grave goods as an ash box.
Address:
König-Johann-Straße in Kastel-Staadt, Germany.
