Douglas Point Natural Area is roughly 800 acres of woodland along the shore of Wades Bay and the Potomac River. This trail leads to the Blue Banks beach where shark teeth fossils can be found. The trail is sandy and can be covered in pine needles. At the end of the trail getting to the shore, there is a drop and caution should be made during the decent.
Parking is limited so plan ahead or show up early.
