Fray Leopoldo nació en Alpandeire el 24 de junio de 1866. A los 33 años marchó a Granada para vestir el hábito de capuchino donde permaneció hasta su muerte en 1956. Su vida la dedicó a postular para su convento y misiones de la Orden. Se le atribuyen cientos de hazañas milagrosas, incluso hoy en día, su sepultura es muy visitada para pedir algún tipo de ayuda. Actualmente está en proceso de beatificación que comenzó en 1961.

Fray Leopoldo was born in Alpandeire on June 24, 1866. At the age of 33 he went to Granada to wear the Capuchin habit where he remained until his death in 1956. His life was dedicated to postulating for his convent and missions of the Order. Hundreds of miraculous feats are attributed to him, even today, his grave is very visited to ask for some kind of help. He is currently in the process of beatification which began in 1961.
