The confluence of the Laramie River and the North Platte River in Wyoming is located within the Fort Laramie National Historic site. The coordinates given are from the northwest side of the Laramie River and the southwest side of the North Platte. There are 2 trails leading to the confluence area, one traveling down the Laramie River, and the other following the North Platte. Both rivers have good spring and fall fishing, and the area is home to numerous wildlife. Park either at the old Platte River Bridge parking area, or along the road just before a bridge across the Laramie River.
