The aviary is open from 9 am to 4 pm every day and contains a wide variety of Australian native birds including the Superb Parrot, the Zebra Finch and Red Rumped Parrot.

There are several peacocks which wander freely around the outside area and the whole visit is very child friendly.

Over the road is the well know Japanese Garden and there are lots of picnic areas for recreation.
