The white-painted Australian Volunteer Coast Guard 'Operations Centre' single-storey building stands just above the Fitzroy River, with a 'pigeon loft' atop. On the other side of the concrete pathway to the building to their large yellow sign and white-painted Anchor is a plain galvanised Nautical Flagpole.
