Ascending Squares
Artist: Daryl Paulson
Medium: Steel
Location: Creekside Park
Location Sponsor: Holiday Inn Bozeman
Paulson’s work is comprised of primarily recycled welded metal and occupies territory at the Downtown library, east main, Soroptimist Park and outside city hall.
Daryl has come to treat his art as a method of catharsis, seeing it as the development of feeling and thought into physical existence. The pieces exhibiting this spirit in the Art Crossing are both very human in their construction, befitting of an emotional product.
Ascending Squares consists of eight cubes that is true to the sculpture's name as the cubes are ascending towards the sky. The cube are about the same size and it stands about 8 feet tall.
Ascending Squares is one of two sculptures on displayed in Bozeman by Daryl Paulson.
