"The Chapel of Saint Etienne with its cemetery, its Calvary (12th century stone plinth, iron cross and cast iron Christ).

Located on the edge of the D84 near Beuvreuil, the construction of the Saint Etienne church (formerly St Etienne des Prez) seems to date back to the beginning of Christianity.

Only the choir remains. The wings of the church were destroyed in 1840. It is considered today as the chapel of the cemetery which surrounds it.

The cemetery around the chapel has about a hundred graves, it is still active.

Gancourt Saint Etienne is the result of the merger of three parishes: Saint Etienne des Prés which was the seat of the oldest parish church, Saint Martin de Gancourt and Bouricourt parish under the name of Saint Médard."
