All Saints' is an active Anglican church and was built in 1866 to a design by H. F. Bacon and is the Parish church of Castleford.

The church is built of Hammer-dressed sandstone with a slate roof. The five-bay nave has both north and south aisles with a crossing tower, a south gabled porch and north and south transepts.

Three sides of the tower originally had clock faces but one has been removed. Each of the clock faces has a white face with black minute markers, Roman Numerals for the hours and clock hands.

There is a small stone arch over the clock face (a hood mould) which protects the clock from rain.
