[FIN] Kasvitieteellinen puutarha on auki vuoden ympäri ja siellä viihtyvät sekä aikuiset että lapset. Yli 5000 taksonia (lajia, lajiketta yms.) käsittävä kokoelma on elävä näyteikkuna maapallon kasvimaailman monimuotoisuuteen. Puutarhan kokoelmissa on kasveja maapallon eri ilmastovyöhykkeiltä, aina sademetsistä aavikoille.
Puutarha toimii Turun Yliopiston tutkimuspaikkana ja se on vuodesta 1956 asti toiminut nykyisellä paikallaan. Alueelta löytyy suuret kasvihuoneet, joissa on erilaisia ilmastotyyppejä maailmalta. Kasvihuoneita ovat mehikasvihuone, araukariahuone, talvipuutarha, uuden maailman tropiikki, vanhan maailman tropiikki ja Välimeren ilmasto. Ulkoalueet ovat laajat ja niihin on vapaa pääsy 8-20.
Kasvitieteellisessä puutarhassa järjestetään myös erilaisia tapahtumia sekä kursseja myös lapsille. Puutarhassa on saatavilla opastuksia.

[EN] The botanical garden is open all year round and both adults and children enjoy it. The collection of over 5,000 taxa (species, varieties, etc.) is a living showcase of the diversity of the world's flora. The garden's collections contain plants from different climate zones around the world, from rainforests to deserts.
The garden serves as a research site for the University of Turku and has operated in its current location since 1956. There are large greenhouses in the area with different climate types from around the world. Greenhouses include succulent greenhouse, araucaria room, winter garden, new world tropical, old world tropical and Mediterranean climate. The outdoor areas are large and have free access from 8am to 8pm every day.
Various events and courses for children are also organized in the botanical garden. Guided tours are available in the garden.
