This brightly-painted Corythosaurus can be seen in Riverside Park. This Cretaceous-era dinosaur lived near water and ate water plants and shellfish. This particular statue was created for the former Sinclair Oil Company (notable for their use of dinosaur logos) for display at the 1964 Worlds Fair, and was later given to the City of Independence.
