Nijntje is een van de bekendste inwoners van Utrecht. Net buiten het centrum vind je dan ook het nijntje pleintje: een rustig hoekje omringt door huisjes, water, bankjes en groen.

Op de hoek van de Van Asch van Wijckskade en de 1e Achterstraat vind je het Nijntje Pleintje. Dit pleintje is vernoemd naar het konijn Nijntje. Nijntje, bedacht en getekend door Dick Bruna, is een van de bekendste inwoners van Utrecht. Op het plein staat een lief en eenvoudig Nijntje standbeeld, gemaakt door Bruna’s zoon Marc Bruna. Geniet van dit rustige hoekje, omringt door huisjes, water, bankjes en groen.

Het beeld van Nijntje is gemaakt in 1994 door Marc Bruna. Het is een eenvoudig tweedimensionaal silhouet van Nijntje, gemaakt van een of ander metaal (staal?) Simpel en tweedimensionaal, net zoals de bekende boekjes.

Nijntje (Miffy) is one of the most famous residents of Utrecht. Just outside the center you will find the Miffy square: a quiet corner surrounded by houses, water, benches and greenery.

On the corner of the Van Asch van Wijckskade and the 1e Achterstraat you will find the Miffy Square. This square is named after the rabbit Miffy. Miffy, created and drawn by Dick Bruna, is one of the most famous residents of Utrecht. On the square is a sweet and simple Miffy statue, made by Bruna's son Marc Bruna. Enjoy this quiet corner, surrounded by houses, water, benches and greenery.

The statue of Miffy was made in 1994 by Marc Bruna. It is a simple two-dimensional silhouette of Miffy, made of some metal (steel?) Simple and two-dimensional, just like the well-known books.
