This is one of several wildlife areas that are open to public use. This waymark is set at the entrance, on the north side of 102. The nearest town of any size is Pittsburg, to the northeast. Hunting, fishing, and trapping (with the proper state permits) are allowed here. A sign at the entrance gives rules, regulations, and limits. Motorized vehicles are permitted only on the paved roads and parking areas, but you can hike anywhere.
