This standalone ALDI store is set back from Russell Street by an unusual structure.

The ALDI store has a low-angled gabled corrugated iron roof, with a broad level metal awning over the entry and trolley bays. An aerial view shows plenty of solar panels on the NW side of the hip. Behind the Russell Street footpath and between it and the car park is an unusual brick structure, reminiscent of Roman elevated viaducts.
There is a large open-air and untimed car park; with a couple of specific disabled parking spots near the entrance. The closest car parks are fenced off from the front of the store - even though each bay has the usual wheel bumpers. The store is easily wheelchair accessible. It sells alcohol, with slightly reduced hours on Sundays.

By my reckoning, as at 2022, the next closest ALDI stores are:
Orange, ~47km West,
Lithgow, ~54km East,
Katoomba, ~75km SE,
Mudgee, ~91.5km North.
[Having driven up from western Sydney the evening before, I then slept over in Bathurst until there was enough daylight to get some photos.]
