"Tunnels have always played an important role in the center of Utrecht to get down from the street to the wharf with a cart. So is the little tunnel from the Ganzenmarkt that leads to the basement of the Winkel van Sinkel. Artist Erik Groen combined the historical idea of someone walking through the tunnel with a torch with modern technology. The light artwork "walks" with you, adapting to the color of your clothes, changing intensity and turning the walls into projection screens for all kinds of patterns. A unique experience."
