The Hall was built in 1896 in support of Nepean Township. The eastern portion of the Township was annexed to the City of Ottawa in 1950. However, the Town Hall remained in operation until 1966, when the remaining Township area was annexed.
Today, the building serves as home to the Churchill Seniors Recreation Centre.
