Der Bahnhof Bamberg ist der Personenbahnhof der kreisfreien Stadt Bamberg in Oberfranken. Er wird als Knotenbahnhof von Nahverkehrszügen der Deutschen Bahn und der Agilis-Eisenbahngesellschaft sowie von ICE-Zügen bedient. Der Bahnhof liegt an den Bahnstrecken Nürnberg–Bamberg, Bamberg–Hof und Bamberg–Rottendorf. Er besitzt sieben Bahnsteiggleise.
Täglich halten 152 Regional- und 27 Fernverkehrszüge (Stand 2016). 2016 wurden etwa 15.000 Reisende täglich gezählt. Das machte ihn zum meistfrequentierten Bahnhof Oberfrankens.

Bamberg railway station is the passenger station of the independent city of Bamberg in Upper Franconia. As a junction station, it is served by local trains of Deutsche Bahn and the Agilis railway company as well as by ICE trains. The station is located on the Nuremberg-Bamberg, Bamberg-Hof and Bamberg-Rottendorf railway lines. It has seven platform tracks.
Every day, 152 regional and 27 long-distance trains stop (as of 2016). In 2016, around 15,000 passengers were counted daily.[2] This made it the busiest station in Upper Franconia.
