This broad concrete Boat Ramp is next to the Volunteer Marine Rescue building on the NW side of the harbour. An interesting side-note of being so far north, was a stenciled warning on the concrete path to the jetty: "Be Croc Wise in Croc Country. Sightings 1300 130 372"

The broad concrete ramp would be about 7° slope, with fairly deep grooves diagonally across the surface. There is a narrow jetty for passengers to embark/disembark, before the boat is trailered.

From a listing of Boat Ramps in the Gladstone region, in the Queensland Courier Mail newspaper, the next biggest, having four lanes, is on Boyne Island, at David Bray Park. ex-24 October, 2017: (visit link)
