The small pullout is located just over the Arctic Circle along the Dalton Highway, one of the most dangerous roads in the world. If you have seen the TV show ice Road truckers, that is set on the Dalton Highway.
Tourists who book the Arctic Circle tour out of Fairbanks have this location as the northern terminus of their journey. It's a very nice pullout with extremely sturdy chemical toilets that double as protection from bears, and a nice wooden picnic area with a large table and some interpretive signs.
There are no trash cans here because trash will attract bears. No one wants to attract bears.
