Blessing Box - Lake Worth, TX - Eagle Scout Project Sites on Waymarking.com

On the door, it is noted that this was an Eagle Scout project, the work of Laura Boulds of Troop 2020 (in Haslet, not too far from here), placed here on January 5, 2022. Facebook comments indicate that she and her associates assembled this by hand, including the welding.

This is a fairly common model of Blessing Box, made of corrugated stainless steel and mounted on a metal post. The back and sides are light blue while the rest is white. The door is plastic in a metal frame, secured by a latch on the side. There's duct tape around the edges, suggesting that the box leaks, although the contents appear to be in good condition. It's fairly well-stocked with a combination of dry and canned goods.

The park is open daily from 5:30 AM to 11 PM.
