Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm is south of downtown Kelowna, (Hwy. 97), turn south on Gordon Drive continue turn left on Casorso Road and continue to Bedford Road turn right on Takla Road. Total distance about 10 km.

"Our farm is full of many different aromatic herbs, plants and trees that we harvest to dry or distill and then use in our products. Throughout the growing season from May into September you can find us picking calendula, rose petals, rose hips, oregano, birch, linden, thyme, cedar, savory, fir, basil, witch hazel, rosemary,

pine, helichrysum, lemon balm, lemon verbena, lemon grass, bee balm, nepeta, peppermint, spearmint, chamomile, yarrow, lavender, violas, rose geranium, echinacea, sage…as they say, there’s always room for another plant in the gardener’s garden!"

Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm is the first company in North America to use 100% biodegradable containers, Sulapac, while continuing to explore more sustainable solutions. Their Earth Tube system passively controls the temperature by circulating the air between the rooms and the ground outside. This saves up to 78% of energy compared with traditional HVAC systems. They allow one paper checkout bag per purchase and charge a fee for any additional bags. All proceeds are donated to Tree Canada's National Greening Program, specifically for reforesting areas in BC damaged by wildfires and invasive pests.

Nestled in the hills of the Okanagan Valley on land owned by the family for four generations, devoted to farming. Andrea McFadden owner of Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm had a humble beginning in 1999. Starting as a seasonal hobby farm to now a year-round operation.

Okanagan Lavender & Herb Farm harvest, dry and distill over 20 aromatic plants to make award-winning botanical products. These include Face Care, Bath & Body, Aromatherapy, Culinary and Sachets & Stems.

We were actually looking for All God’s Babies and Immaculate Conception Mission Cemetery and had to use the access road adjacent to the lavender farm. I recall the beauty of the lavender in bloom.
