These stained glass windows are located at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral on North Main Street in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. The church was built between 1926 and 1928 and was made the cathedral of the newly created Roman Catholic Diocese of Greensburg in 1951. Originally called Most Holy Sacrament Church, it was renamed Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.
The stained glass windows at the cathedral were made by the Franz Mayer Company of Munich, Germany. The windows along the nave aisles depict scenes from the life of Christ. The windows in the transepts have images of various saints, including the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint Joseph, Saint John the Baptist, and others. Above the choir loft is one large rose window. Above the main church door is the newest window, installed in 2011, the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Diocese of Greensburg, and depicting the coat of arms of then-bishop, Lawrence E. Brandt.
