Medvedí stezka vznikla v roce 1966 jako první naucná stezka na Šumave. Zacátek naucné stezky je u železnicní zastávky Ovesná. Koncí u železnicní zastávky Cerný kríž po 15 kilometrech.
Stezka je znacena žlute.
The bear trail was created in 1966 as the first educational trail in Šumava. The beginning of the educational trail is at the railway station Ovesná. It ends at the Cerný kríž railway station after 15 kilometers.
