There are two places to play basketball at Cabral Park, an East Side park in the Fox Point neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island. The full court option has a north-south axis and is bound on the north and east sides by a tall chain link fence. To the south is a single hoop angled slightly southeast and on its own disk-shaped segment of pavement.

All three goals are similar: Large, plain white, rectangular backboards with orange rims and white cotton nets mounted to six-inch round galvanized steel posts. The upper court's paint job is very faded -- white boundary lines and red free throw lanes remain nominally more visible than the formerly green court surface with a three-foot-wide red periphery. No markings were visible on the smaller court whose truncated post supports a regular-size metal backboard, its rim about six feet off the ground.
