The "Famous Gunfighters Wax Museum" shares a space with the Kansas Teachers Hall of Fame - in Dodge City, Kansas.

While this wax museum has attractions such as John F. Kennedy, the main focus is on the Wild Wild West and many of those depicted are sufficiently famous to be recognizable to all. Billy the Kid, the Dalton Gang, Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday are all here.

The museum's creator was Larry Yost (1923-2008), a Dodge City civic booster and photographer. He collected exhibits and placed them on the second floor of this building, above his photography studio. Eventually he closed down the studio and the Kansas Teachers Hall of Fame moved into the first floor.
