The Visitors Center for Dodge City is on the east edge of a large parking lot that also serves nearby museums and other exhibits. They will gladly provide brochures on the area. There is a guest book you can sign, and t-shirts for purchase. The Visitors Center has a fine statue of actor James Arness as Marshall Matt Dillon, fictitious Marshall of Dodge City from the Gunsmoke radio and television series.
