The George & Dragon is a Craft Union Pub located on Ironmarket in the centre of Newcastle-under-Lyme.

It is a traditional single-roomed pub dating from 1816. There is a smoking area, Karaoke Night every Thursday and live sport is shown every day.

The George & Dragon has a hanging pub sign. The sign shows a traditional picture of Saint George in armour on the back of a white horse slaying a dragon on the ground.
The name of the pub 'George & Dragon' and 'Craft Union Free House' in white capital letters can be seen at the bottom of the sign.
