David Barto Garner, who died at age fifty-one, was a Woodman of the World. His grave marker is styled as a vertical tree trunk with cut limbs, on a base of two cut logs adorned with leaves and ivy. David's infant son,
William Barto Garner, is interred nearby; the child died on August 5, 1919, just two months after his father. Did the same calamity claim them both?
Lillian Allred, wife and mother, lived until 1937.
