The sign for this pub is a large wooden structure on the top of a pole, not surprisingly in the shape of a garden shed.

This large pub has a rustic theme, with a large sun terrace and an area with real garden sheds with seats inside for sitting in a sheltered spot outside.

I think the sign and the whole theme of the pub is based on the joke that men like to go to their garden shed to get away from their wives for some peace and quiet.

Of course it's now possible to say they're in the shed, but in fact be with their mates enjoying a pint (or two) of beer.

The building was a villa which until converted to a pub in 1997 had been derelict for a number of years. It chnanged to its current style in 2016.
Date of current sign: 2016
