WSC Station 02FA001 Disc 2 (Sauble River at Sauble Falls) - Sauble Falls, ON - Canadian Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

I located two reference discs for WSC Station 02FA001 on the Sauble River at Sauble Falls Provincial Park. This waymark is for the second disc (in the order I found them). Hydrometric station 02FA001 is a Real-Time station in operation since 1957, reporting flow and (since 2002) water level.

The second disc is mounted on a retaining wall that might have been associated with an old dam at this location. As typical, the disc is marked with "Water Survey of Canada" but also appears to be stamped with the letter P. from the bridge (location of disc #1), walk north along the paved pathway and look for the low concrete wall on your right. The disc is mounted flush in the top of the wall, north end, adjacent to a brown shed.
