Scheveningen has several places with high waves. The North is the best known. All surf schools and surf shops are located there. Good with a good south-westerly wind and with a north-westerly swell

Scheveningen is also seen and called as Surfcity in the Netherlands. The cityscape of The Hague and Scheveningen is partly determined by surfers in wetsuits on their bicycles and boards under their arms, the various surf shops at the harbor and the surf schools on the beach, such as The Shore and Aloha."
