"Schneider, Jr., Vincent A., of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Friday, January 2, 2009, at the age of 75. Devoted husband of Jean "Gigi" Schneider; dear son of the late Vincent A., Sr. and the late Anna Schneider; loving father of Vincent (Cindy) Schneider, III, Nancy (Michael) Holloran and Robert Schneider; cherished grandfather of Vincent, IV and Brittany Schneider, Emily and Gracie Holloran and Danielle Schneider; dear brother of Dr. Tomas (Joyce) A. Schneider, Emily (Jack) Heck and Sr. Mary Elizabeth Ann Schneider; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many. He was the Executive Director of the St. Charles Clinic from 1960-1998 and was the 1984 Executive of the Year, past President of the St. Charles Kiwanis and St. Charles Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Community and Children's Resource Board and volunteered for the St. Charles Soup Kitchen. Memorials may be made to Masses, St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Salvation Army Dining Hall or the donor's choice." ~ Baue Funeral Home

Rodes, Sr. and Harriet Rodes Bakewell; devoted father of Boyle O. (Terry and Terri) Rodes III and Cindy (Charles P.) Schaeffer; cherished grandfather of Alison (Seth) Bruffett, Elizabeth (Tyler) Bechtold, Tara (Bob) Sullivan and Tyler Schaeffer; beloved great-grandfather of Cooper Bruffett, Elsa Bruffett and Harper Sullivan; dear brother of Harriet (late William) Carter, Tom (Barbara) Rodes and Margaret (Peter) White; dear in-law of late Donald (Joyce) Ohlms, Janet (late Robert) Murman and David (Terri) Ohlms. Gilbert R. Lauer
"Lauer, Gilbert R. of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Monday, May 17, 2010 at the age of 80. Gilbert was the Principal of St. Charles High School for 13 years from 1963 - 1976 and the Assistant Superintendant of City of St. Charles Public Schools for 14 years from 1976 - 1990. Loving husband of Joyce Lauer (nee: Eberlin); beloved son of the late Frank and Bertha Lauer; devoted father of Mary (Keith) Fairley, Chris (Heather) Lauer and Michael (Kelly) Lauer; cherished grandfather of Katie and Michael Fairley, Mariah, Brenden and Krystal Lauer, Abbey and Drew Lauer; dear brother of Ruth Huenefeld; beloved uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his brother Glennon Lauer. Gilbert was a former President of the Kiwanis Club, a member of the Mizzou Alumni Association, an usher at St. Cletus and active in the Secondary School Association. He played in the College World Series with Mizzou Baseball. Gilbert enjoyed golf and fishing and watching all sports, especially his grandkids. William Robert Lang
"Lang, William Robert of Copper Harbor, MI, died on Thursday, May 6, 2010, at the age of 90 in St. Charles, MO. Mr. Lang was a World War II Army Veteran who served his country in the European Theater. Mr. Lang was a Supervisor with the Wisconsin Telephone Company in Long Distance Communications from 1945 until 1978, when he retired. Loving husband of the late Gertrude Joy Lang (nee Baril); dear father of Neal E. (Laura Patricia) Lang of St. Charles, MO and Sally A. (Terry) Connolly of Norfolk, VA; loving grandfather of Jonathan W. (Frances) Lang of Falls Church, VA, Jason A. (Krista) Lang of Seattle, WA, and Justin R, (Renee) Lang of Alexandria, VA; loving great-grandfather of Olivia and Griffin Lang.
