[ES] La fachada de este santuario puede considerarse como una de las mejores obras del Barroco gallego. Portada profusamente decorada; se observan varias imágenes y destacan sus columnas salomónicas, decoradas con vid y otros motivos vegetales. Tiene dos torres, divididas en cinco tramos, todos ellos diferentes. El interior guarda interesantes retablos, destacando el del Altar Mayor por su riqueza.
El Santuario fue mandado construir por el Obispo de Astorga en el año 1624, cerca del lugar donde la tradición cuenta que apareció la talla de la Virgen. Al templo original de una sola nave, se le fueron agregando la Capilla Mayor y las dos torres, así como dos naves en el lado norte y el sur.
El recinto del Santuario presenta un pavimento decorativo de cantos rodados y un cruceiro barroco en el centro.

[EN] The façade of this sanctuary can be considered one of the best works of Galician Baroque. Profusely decorated cover; Several images can be seen and its Solomonic columns, decorated with vines and other plant motifs, stand out. It has two towers, divided into five sections, all of them different. The interior keeps interesting altarpieces, highlighting the High Altar for its richness.
The Sanctuary was ordered to be built by the Bishop of Astorga in 1624, near the place where tradition says that the carving of the Virgin appeared. To the original temple with a single nave, the Main Chapel and the two towers were added, as well as two naves on the north and south sides.
The enclosure of the Sanctuary presents a decorative pavement of rounded stones and a baroque cross in the center.
