[FR] Sur la place de la Mairie de Bourdeilles se dresse un séquoia géant (Sequoiadendron giganteum) qui fut planté en 1830. Celui-ci, selon les mesures effectuées en 2010, mesure 6m70 à 1m50 du sol pour une hauteur de plus de 40m. Il fait parti des arbres remarquables et il possède même un certificat d'authenticité HR 016 en date de janvier 1993.
Le séquoia est un conifère qui appartient à l'ordre des Pinales et à la famille des Cupressassés. Un arbre tel que celui-ci peut vivre 3000 ans et atteindre 95 mètres de haut.

This one, according to the measurements made in 2010, measures 6m70 to 1m50 from the ground for a height of more than 40m.
