2476 Andersen is an asteroid, a large rock that orbits the Sun mainly between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. They tend to be an irregular shaped but Ceres asteroid is known to be spherical in shape but because it doesn't clear its path round the Sun, it is only a dwarf planet.

Asteroids are also known as Minor Planets but that term has largely fallen out of favour since 2006 with preference to Dwarf Planets and Small Solar System Bodies. Minor Planet referred to anything not a Comet or a planet. Wikipedia

he bust of HCA is a replica of the one made by the Danish sculptor Herman Wilhelm Bissen in 1865. An earlier version in Philip Park disappeared without trace.

In 2006, Danish Crown Prince Frederick and Crown Princess Mary unveiled this new statue. Our oversees visitors may not know that Mary, then an Australian citizen, met Frederick at a Sydney club during the 2000 Sydney Olympics. They married on 14 May 2004. When Frederick becomes King of Denmark, Mary will become his Queen. A fairytale for the modern times.
