The Collinsville News was established on May 11, 1899, in what was then Indian Territory. The newspaper constructed this building in 1925, which housed the paper until publication ceased in 1987. The building now houses the Collinsville Newspaper Museum, operated by the great-grandson of the founder of the paper.
