The brick built arch bridge is located on Wistaston Green Road near to a small carpark. It crosses the Wistaston Brook.
The single-track road bridge is constructed from red and purple bricks. A stone plaque dated 1787 is set into the purple bricks that form the oldest part of this bridge.
The plaque is on the on the south-east side of the bridge adjacent to the Golden Jubilee Bridge, a wooden pedestrian bridge that was constructed in 2002 by the Wistaston Conservation Group.
