The eight flags represent the eight countries:
The Åland Islands, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden.
The Nordic House was inaugurated in 1983 and the purpose of the house is to promote Nordic and Faroese culture. They always have a program full of music and art events
